‘Morning Drift’ – I captured this scene in September at Noss Mayo when I was doing a painting, an early morning before the village had awakened. As I painted, a local passed by in his small boat, carrying wood he had gathered—an everyday act that somehow captured the spirit of this place. For a moment, time felt suspended between the stillness of dawn and the quiet rhythm of village life. What a joy it was to paint this scene—so full of gentleness, simplicity, and life.
