A graduate of Plymouth Art University, Neda finds endless inspiration in the sweeping coastlines and rolling countryside of Cornwall and Devon. Her work is rooted in her love of the Southwest, its ever-changing skies, distinctive colours, and the quiet beauty of its wild places.
Neda’s oil paintings often begin with photographs taken during her travels, capturing the unique light and atmosphere that define each scene. More recently, she has embraced plein air painting, working directly from nature and immersing herself in the landscape as she paints.
Whether outdoors or in her studio, Neda works alla prima – painting in one sitting to preserve a sense of freshness and spontaneity. Her impressionistic approach focuses on mood, movement, and light rather than fine detail, allowing each piece to retain the energy of the moment it was created.
Every artwork is based on a real location, a reflection of Neda’s personal connection to place and her ongoing journey through the landscapes that inspire her most.
